Ready to have mastery over your anxiety now?

 

Session 1: Get to know yourself

You will:

  • Go over the different stages of your life with me (home: friends & family & romantic relationships/work & career/health: nutrition & hydration, sleep, fitness/mental health: emotional, creative, intellectual & ‘calm spaces’) 

  • Get to the source/reason that triggers why you have anxiety today

  • Identify patterns and learn how to react to triggers


Session 2: Understand what’s going on in your brain when you experience anxiety

You will

  • Learn about the relevant anatomy of the brain (amygdala, prefrontal cortex, hippocampus) and relevant recent research in neuroplasticity and positive psychology

  • Learn tools to use when you experience panic attacks

  • Practice 3 anxiety reducing techniques that directly affect your brain

  • Start to master your anxieties


Session 3: Love your mind and body

You will

  • Practice a loving-kindness meditation and a body scan (a relaxation technique with which you go through the different parts of your body, visualizing it filling with energy)

  • Establish a healthy routine plan (incl. daily exercise & meditation), based on psychological studies of healthy habits and makes us happy

  • Talk about distraction’s role in anxiety

  • Introduce 1-3 activities you will love to do in your new life

  • Learn breathing exercises


Session 4: See your strengths & Words are everything

You will

  • Draft a gratitude list

  • Take a VIA (Values in Action Test)

  • Learn about the physics behind daily words

  • Learn to ask for support and help when you need it 

  • Learn about positive affirmations & mantras.


Session 5: Healing through prolonged exposure/journaling/establish new routine

You will

  • Learn about prolonged exposure

  • Backtracking (we will go over what you accomplished in the past) 

  • Go over your gratitude list with me and record yourself  & learn about journaling-keeping exercise

  • Go over your current routine and create a weekly happiness routine/Discuss your  new activities & their impact on your mental health (singing, dancing, humming, drawing, reading, music)/Discuss how all of these activities have a positive influence on your brain
