Let’s figure out together what makes you feel most alive; what makes you wake up in the morning with the energy to accomplish wonders. Our pivotal objective will be to make connections between your skills and your goals. We will also work on your mental and physical health, since these are interconnected.

I know from personal experience how easy it is to forget to take care of yourself and to work relentlessly until you fall apart. The objective here is to dig deep into remembering who you are, where you are, and where you want to go. Together, we will find ways for you to keep focused while relaxing, having fun, sleeping better, and doing activities that will energize you.

ANXIETY REDUCING TECHNIQUES

Anxiety is a natural reaction to a complex situation, a normal feeling that we all experience at some point in our lives since it's based on our primal fight-or-flight instinct for survival -- sending the reptilian part of our brain into hyper-vigilant mode. Anxiety is caused by anticipating and worrying about how to navigate an event or situation.

These events and situations include driving, taking an exam, going into a social setting, preparing for and taking an interview, maintaining health, needing to feel accepted by family/friends/society, and having problems with income or dealing with a toxic job environment. These are some of the areas we might work on together, using coping tools to empower you to live your best life.

If you are feeling anxious all the time, with increased blood pressure and feelings of nausea, a doctor/therapist/psychiatrist would be a more appropriate consult.

HYPNOTHERAPY

Your unconscious mind is very powerful. It is capable of finding resources within you -- past, present, and future -- in order to transform your problem into a solution. Through our redirection process, hypnosis changes both your unconscious and conscious mind.

A multiple-session program enables you to get used to going into a trance, since this might not happen in the first session.

TRAUMA-CONSCIOUS YOGA

Trauma-conscious yoga is preparing information about what each pose and breathing exercise does for the brain and body and alerts you to ways it may affect you. With this preparation, you become an active participant, and every experience becomes useful information.

HATHA YOGA

Yoga is considered a state of being.  The asanas (physical postures) enhance the healthy body in order to have a healthy mind. In the original practices, you move your body in order to meditate better for long hours in a seated position. The course is at a beginner’s level for adults. In all of my yoga classes, I apply a trauma-conscious lens.
